Summertime in Wales

Two weeks ago, my mother came to visit from America, and we took her to one of my favourite places in all of Britain, Northern Wales. The picture on the right was taken in what is probably my favourite place in Wales, Bets-y-Coed, Snowdonia (by Peter, he takes contracts!).

This is a fantastic view coming through Snowdonia on the way out of Wales. Snowdon herself is standing on the right. Peter still takes contracts.

Because I still love Bets-y-Coed, here is another picture for your viewing pleasure.

This is a view across the bridge from Conwy castle. Unfortunately, the day we were there was quite wet, but it was still a good time. The rain held off until we sat down to eat, then Jonathan played our hero and ran half way through the town in the monsoon weather to get the car and drive us to Llandudno.

This is another view of Conwy castle. This is about the best (and only) picture Peter took which showed both the castle and the wall. It was a pretty abysmal day really, as is evident from this picture.

This view is from the Great Orme (a beautiful headland by Llandudno), looking down onto Llandudno Strand. This pictures contains goats, obviously, which makes it superior to any other pictures of Llandudno taken that day (That bit wasn't written by Monika, obviously).

One of the prominent pictures of Llandudno are the hotels. The Grand Hotel sits right at the edge of the pier and is one of the most famous in the area.

This one is for Jonney. Taken from Conwy Castle.

Llandudno by day and...

...by night.

A beautiful sight looking across Conwy Harbour.

For Jonney. I miss you.
