Just in case anyone decides to 'take on' the athiests by starting a discussion with them, I give you the cautionary tale of Amanda Rickman, who started a discussion on December 26 in the athiest, agnostic and non-religious facebook group.

As of today, the discussion has 1104 responses in 25 days - about one every 30 mins!
Fair play to her though, she has kept up with the responses, and everyone seems to have kept fairly civil. I'm not sure if I'd want to follow her example though...

A rather blusterous day

"Pooh," said Owl severely, "did you do that?"
"No," said Pooh humbly. "I don't think so."
"Then who did?"
"I think it was the wind," said Piglet. "I think your
house has blown down."
"Oh, is that it? I thought it was Pooh."
"No," said Pooh.
"If it was the wind," said Owl, considering the matter,
"then it wasn't Pooh's fault. No blame can be attached to him."
With these kind words he flew up to look at his new ceiling.

In memory of Jonathan, who has been stranded in Manchester. We miss you, and hope the wind carries you home.
